Sun, Sand and Crystal Clear Waters await you at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort!

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort. All opinions and images are my own.

boardwalk with airstream food truck on one side with palm trees and beach on the other side

Some people say that my waist went away. But I know…… it’s my own damn fault…..sigh

view of Margaritaville, Hollywood Beach Florida from the ocean. Water, sand , beach chairs and umbrellas in front of the resort

Moving to Florida was the best thing we could have ever done. Well for me at least it was. Lisa still has days that she misses the Philadelphia area. But the minute we entered Florida, the skies opened and the Angels sang, I was home. And the best part about living in the Sunshine State has been all of the amazing people I’ve met because of my blog.

sunrise on the ocean overlooking the rooftop pool with palm trees

Hospitality is King in Florida and for as long as I can remember Jimmy Buffett has been the crown prince of this beautiful state. So when I was invited to stay at the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, I jumped at the chance. Wouldn’t you? I mean, after all, it’s paradise.

view of the beach , the ocean , blue skies and beach umbrellas and chairs with happy people

I had been to Hollywood Beach a few times and had experienced their beautiful white sand beaches.

But what I didn’t know was that Margaritaville had beach chairs and umbrellas right for its guests just across the broadwalk, right on the beach! The Margaritaville staff even comes out to your slice of paradise to take your drink and lunch orders. It just doesn’t get any better than fish tacos and margaritas while relaxing on the beach!

fish tacos with slaw, avocado, salsa, slice of lime, jalapeno and Mexican rice on a butcher paper

Did I mention the Fish Tacos? My server suggested that I get the fish blackened and she was right on the money, they were so delicious! Being the wimp that I am I didn’t eat the jalapeno….. not much of Mexican am I?

fried egg on top of tortillas with cheese, enchilada sauce and refried beans served on a white plate with avocado and jalapeno

And breakfast at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville was epic! I had one of the best, if not the best Huevos Rancheros I’ve ever had. I would have gotten it every morning but I wanted to sample more of the deliciousness they offered.

steak cut with a section missing on a white plate with a fork holding a piece of steak on top

What completely blew me away was dinner at JWB Prime Steak and Seafood.  I wasn’t expecting this level of (casual) fine dining at Margaritaville. I say casual fine dining because it’s Margaritaville and if you want to wear shorts and a Hawaiian shirt there’s no problem.

There were so many items to choose from on the menu but when you’re at a Steakhouse you really need to order a steak. I went with the aged bone in ribeye that was perfectly cooked to medium rare, seasoned to perfection with a delicious crust that only a master griller can achieve.

For those of you that don’t know why its named JWB, those are the initials of our favorite Parrot Head, James William Buffett.

2 pieces of of pan seared grouper with baby greens on top served over tri color potatoes with a light sauce in a white bowl

The biggest surprise at JWB was the Spear Fishing Program that they’ve developed with local divers. The JWB Spear Fishing Program not only delivers fresh fish daily to your table, but it also helps protect the fragile natural habitat. They even tell you who caught the fish and where it was caught. My wife ordered the Spear Fish of the night which was a Black Grouper caught off of Jupiter Florida. You really don’t know how good fish is until you’ve had it served hours after it was caught.

JWB Prime Steak and Seafood is active in supporting the environment and their commitment shows throughout the resort.

oysters and king crab legs on ice with lemons and seaweed

You can also find a delicious selection of oysters at JWB. One of my personal favorites was west coast oysters.

No matter what your tastes are, I promise you won’t go hungry. There are seven restaurants at the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort so there’s no need to leave the property. Just park your car, kick off your shoes and enjoy paradise.

colorful Adirondack chairs with a fire pit on a beach with palm trees and a tiki hut

You’ll find the very relaxed 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar and Grill across the street from the resort on the intercoastal waterway. It’s a great place to enjoy a boat drink while you watch the sunset.

blackened fish sandwich and french fries with a shark toothpick sticking out of the sandwich , sitting on white paper with a drink in the background

I enjoyed the breeze coming off the Intercoastal while sipping my 5 o’Clock Somewhere Boat Drink and devouring my blackened fish sandwich. Life is good at Margaritaville.

slice of key lime pie with whipped cream sitting on a white plate with graham cracker crumbs dusting the plate

Of course, you can’t leave without trying the Key Lime Pie. It was the perfect ending to a delightful meal.

Hollywood beach theatre with aband performing as people seated watch and others dance

After dinner, we cruised on over to the Hollywood Beach Theatre to watch the high-energy show put on by a local Miami band, 30 Vice. There was an eclectic crowd of tourists and locals enjoying the show.

view of a boat and tables inside Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville

As you might have noticed I love food. And when I see a happy staff I know I’m going to get great service and great food. From the iconic Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville restaurant to the Live Life Like a Song Gift Shop, every one of the staff I encountered was happy and smiling. After all, if you have to work you might as well do it in paradise.

So next time you need a little paradise, pack your bags and enjoy all the deliciousness that Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville has to offer. I know I’ll be back.

bacon cheeseburger with a bluefin sticking out of the top of the roll and french fries

And just in case you were wondering, I did have a Cheeseburger in Paradise at the Landshark Bar and Grill.   Fins Up Baby!

You’re killing me with all of your photos lol. I have wanderlust and want to hop on a plane and head to a beach. This one would be my choice. I’ll have to see how far my dad lives from here since he lives there.
