I like to think of these sweet and tender honey bbq chicken wings as meat candy. The meat just pulls off the bone and the flavors dance across your taste buds….sigh.

For a spicy version, of these delicious honey bbq wings add siracha sauce, hot sauce, or a sprinkle of cayenne pepper to the sauce ingredients.

  • Season both sides of the wingettes and drumettes with the dry seasoning mixture.
  • Place a wire rack on an aluminum foil lined baking sheet and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Place the seasoned chicken wing sections in a single layer on the rack.
  • Place the baking sheet on the center rack of the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the wings from the oven and flip them over. Return the pan to the oven and continue baking for an additional 20 minutes.

These were delicious!! We liked them so much that we used the rub, minus the baking powder, & the sticky sauce on baby back ribs in our Traeger. Also delicious & easy! Great recipe, thanks for sharing
