Meyer Lemon Scone with Pistachio’s and Cranberries for my Guest Post at Cakewalker

A few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Brooks Walker through Foodbuzz, and from the moment I saw his first creation I knew this man was destined for great things. His blog name spoke to me…… “Cakewalker” which immediately elevated him to the level of Jedi Master of Cake Bakers…..

With my hectic schedule, I barely have time to post on my own blog, but when Brooks asked me to help celebrate his move  to WordPress with a Guest Post to kickoff his new Guest Post Series, I couldn’t say no.    It also helps that Brooks is a patient man, because he had to wait a little longer than planned for my post….sigh

Now you know from my last post that I love Meyer Lemons, and that my philosophy is “when life gives you Meyer Lemons, you have to bake”   it’s just that simple!

If you’d like one of the easiest tastiest scone recipes, you’ll ever find head on over to Cakewalker for the recipe and a few more pics of these perfect little pastries!  And while your there check out the new and improved Cakewalker website and leave a comment for Brooks, just don’t forget to tell him Chef Dennis sent you!

Dennis, I treasure the Guest Postcard you sent me…you’ve presented a scrumptious recipe and I’m thrilled to share it with all the readers. Thank you so much for the gracious generosity and kindness you’ve shown me.

I have a hunch there’s going to be a run on Meyer lemons!

All the best from my home to yours,
    Brooks

We took a baking class at the local community college last Saturday and made scones. So delicious! Yours look gorgeous! And our grocery store just started carrying Meyer lemons. Hmmm…..

Perfect way of using lemons and pistachios! Scones are one of my weaknesses. This recipe has some of my favorite ingredients. Very nice for a lazy afternoon. Great guest post!
