Our Grinder Salad is loaded with everything you love about an Italian hoagie. Deli meats, cheese, crisp Iceberg lettuce, and a zesty dressing will make this hearty salad a family favorite.
Rinse and dry the iceberg lettuce. Then place it on a cutting board and cut it into small ribbons, aka shredded lettuce.
Chop the Italian meats and cheese into small pieces.
Slice the pepperoncini peppers.
Cut the grape tomatoes in half and chop or slice the onions.
Dressing
Add the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and granulated sugar to a medium bowl and whisk to combine.
Add the grated parmesan cheese and mix to combine.
Refrigerate until needed.
Assembly
Add the shredded iceberg lettuce, salami, capicola ham, sharp provolone cheese, red onion, pepperoncini peppers, and grape tomatoes to a large bowl. Toss to combine the ingredients.
Pour the dressing over the salad and gently toss until well coated.
