WHAT INGREDIENTS DO  I NEED TO MAKE BOSTON CREAM PIE?

Sponge Cake: – All-purpose flour  – Baking powder – Salt – Whole milk – Unsalted butter – Vanilla extract – Large eggs  – Granulated sugar

Pastry Cream: – Milk – Heavy cream  – Egg yolks – Granulated sugar – All-purpose flour  – Unsalted butter  – Vanilla extract Chocolate Glaze: – Heavy cream – Corn syrup – Bittersweet chocolate

Pastry Cream: Add the heavy cream and milk to a medium saucepan, and heat over medium heat until simmering.

Instructions:

While the milk is being heated, add the egg yolks, granulated sugar, and salt to a  medium bowl.

Whisk the eggs and sugar until smooth.

Off-white Section Separator

Whisk the flour into the egg mixture until fully combined. The mixture will be thick.
