Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork steak
  • 2 lb beef short ribs
  • 1 lb Italian sweet sausage
  • 2 lb chicken legs or thighs
  • 1 package New York Bakery Texas Toast
  • your favorite seasonings

Instructions

Mixed Grill

  • Preheat grill to a medium high heat
  • Bring all the meats for your mixed grill to room temperature (about 15 minutes outside of your fridge)
  • Season meats with your favorite seasonings.   I used a jerk seasoning for the chicken and two different steak seasonings for the pork and beef short ribs.
  • Place meats on a clean grill searing evenly on both sides to get good grill marks. (about 5 minutes per side or as long as desired)
  • Reduce heat to low and allow to finish cooking as needed.  All meats should be cooked to a minimum of 165 degrees internal temperature.  Use a meat thermometer to be sure.
  • Remove meats from grill and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving

Texas Toast

  • Clean grill and leave on medium heat.
  • Place frozen Texas Toast on grill.
  •  Grill for 1 ½ - 3 minutes on each side
  • Flip it every 30 seconds until it's as toasted as you like it.  Remove from grill and serve.
