Grilled sweet succulent peaches are the star of my Peaches and Cream Gelato. Make any day a special day with a bowl of my creamy peach gelato

  • 6 in large peaches cut half stone removed 2 cups fruit
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  1. Pre-heat your grill
  2. Using paper towels rub grates with oil so peaches do not stick
  3. Place peach halves on grill and allow to cook for 5-7 minutes or until the peach begins to get some color from the caramelization of the sugars
  4. Turn over and allow the skin side to grill for 5-7 minutes
  5. Remove from grill and carefully remove them skin from the peaches
  6. Place peaches in food processor and puree, refrigerate and allow to fully cool
  7. Place cream, milk, sugar and vanilla in a mixing bowl and using a wire whip mix until sugar is dissolved.
  8. Mix in peach puree and pour into your gelato or ice cream maker.
  9. Follow manufacturers instructions for your ice cream maker.
  10. Allow to fully freeze before serving.
