Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon honey optional
  • ½ teaspoon coarse sea salt or kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Add the melted butter to a large saucepan over medium heat, along with the cayenne pepper, brown sugar, honey (optional), smoked paprika (or sweet paprika), garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Whisk to combine

  • Remove the slightly thickened sauce from the heat.
