Everyone loves Chicken Salad and while you'll find all sorts of items finding their way into chicken salad recipes, nothing beats the classic version.
How to Make Classic Chicken Salad.
Hi I’m Chef Dennis and I’m a recovering chef…….sigh Sometimes I feel like I need to start all of my conversations that way, but when I stop and think about it a recovering chef would not be a good description….there is no recovery for me. Being a chef is what defines me, its what I do well and feeding others is what makes me happy!
That being said, one of the most important lessons I’ve learned as a chef and in life is to work smart not work harder. And that means finding time-saving ideas, picking what you want to spend your time doing. Some things are better off being purchased as a finished product than making them yourself. Remember Time is money and your time is important.
Making Classic Chicken Salad is not difficult and doesn’t take too many ingredients. It’s easy to make and delicious! #everydayeffortless
The finished product looks great, because of the random cut of the Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Fully Cooked Refrigerated Oven Roasted Diced Chicken Breast. Homemade chicken salad couldn’t be any easier!
Feel free to use your own home cooked chicken or leftover rotisserie chicken. I have made this recipe using grilled chicken, oven roasted and even stewed.
This is a Chef Dennis Salad. Chicken salad, bleu cheese, tomatoes, olives, cucumbers and a sprinkling of carrots for color. That’s my idea of a healthy and delicious lunch. #everydayeffortless
